A gastronomic event of particular interest, took place in Samos island, Greece on Saturday 17/8/2019 starring the products, Naxos Gruyere, fine wines from Samos but also from the Emilia Romana region of Italy, through the European program Mediterranean Cheese and Wines for the presentation of the specific PDO and PGI products in Greece, France, Germany and Italy. The event took place on the coastal avenue of Samos alongside the "we make the city" events and was a pleasant surprise for the public and the invited guests. On a platform specially designed for the event, distinguished sommelier Aris Sklavenitis presented the PDO wines of Samos Grand Cru, Samos Vin Doux, Samos Anthemis and Samos Nectar of Samos EOS, while Samoan chef Vangelis Bilibas surprised the guests with of EAS Naxos. The show was followed by "cheese & wine tasting" on the impressive stand set up for the program. The guests had the opportunity to be informed by the representatives of the cooperatives EAS NAXOS and EOS SAMOS about their history, their cultural course to date and their excellent products.
